Our group training classes are a great way to teach, refresh, or advance your dog's basic obedience skills. Group classes meet once per week for 7 weeks, and each class is approximately 50 minutes long. All classes include weekly homework sheets and educational handouts designed to make your training experience fun, educational, and above all effective!

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy K and Play
Our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy K and Play course is designed to get you and your puppy off to a great start.In addition to learning basic obedience, we will focus on avoiding common problem behaviors in the home, such as housebreaking, chewing, nipping, jumping on guests, and staying in the yard.We will also review puppy socialization, puppy handling, and basic care and grooming needs. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy exam will be administered during the last class.

Family Dog Obedience Level 1
Our Family Dog Obedience course is designed to develop the basic skills needed to establish a great relationship with your dog.In addition to learning basic cues, we will focus on eliminating common problem behaviors in the home, such as excessive barking, jumping on guests, charging the door, and staying in the yard. This course includes:

This course is for dogs 6 months and older. Proof of current vaccinations (rabies, distemper, kennel cough) is required to participate in class. No refunds will be issued once class begins.

Family Dog Obedience Level 2 (Intermediate Obedience)
Our Intermediate Obedience course will help you and your dog advance to the next level. Duration, distance and distraction will be added to all Basic Obedience cues. We will introduce off-leash work gradually using positive methods that allow you to begin the transition. We will introduce the figure 8, and other activities that promote focus while owner and dog move together.

Family Dog Obedience Level 3 (Advanced Obedience)
Our Advanced Obedience course focuses on proofing all the Basic and Intermediate cues under substantial distraction.We will also progress to complete off leash work.We will positively motivate your dog to keep focused on you regardless of distractions.
All Basic and Intermediate Cues.
Added distance, duration, and distraction for all cues.
Off leash work for all cues.
Additional heel work in patterns, including an introduction to Rally-Obedience.
